\nYou don’t have to (and can’t) sign up for lectures before the orientation unit.
\nSo don’t worry about that.<\/b><\/p>\n
We are happy to welcome you at the University of Bonn and hope that you arrived safely.
\nRegardless of whether you are going to study the Master Computer Science or Cyber Security you probably still have a lot of unanswered questions. Maybe even some that you didn’t know you had.
\nFor example: What does “c.t.” mean? How do I register for a class? How do the exercises and the practice sheets work? Which lectures do I visit in my first semester?
\nJoint together, the student body and programme management want to help you answer these questions and many more.<\/p>\n
At the beginning of every semester, the student body and programme management<\/b> organize an orientation unit<\/b> (OU) for new master students.<\/p>\n
The most important goals of the OU are:<\/p>\n
– Meet your peers \u2013 without friends, studying is hard!
\n– Get to know the unis facilities \u2013 so that you can find your way around!
\n– Take away the panic \u2013 it’s all going to work out fine!
\n– Answering your questions \u2013 so that you are well-prepared!
\n– Have fun \u2013 of course!<\/p>\n
During the OU you will meet peers from higher semesters who will tell you anything you need to know.
\nWe will show you the campus, and you will have plenty of time to get to know your peers.<\/p>\n
The OU for master students takes place on Tuesday the 7th of October<\/b>\u00a0starting at 10:00 am<\/b> in room 0.109<\/b> of the computer science building<\/b>\u00a0(Friedrich-Hirzebruch-Allee 6).

Vielleicht sogar ein paar, von denen ihr noch gar nicht wusstet, dass ihr sie habt.\r\nWas bedeutet \"c.t.\" (wobei viele von euch das vermutlich schon wissen)? Wie melde ich mich f\u00fcr Vorlesungen an? Wie funktionieren die \u00dcbungsgruppen und Aufgaben? Welche Vorlesungen sollte ich im ersten Semester h\u00f6ren?
