There may be a bomb disposal<\/strong> in the first week of the semester on Monday and Tuesday (08. and 09.04.<\/strong>). It is not yet clear whether this will be necessary. A bomb is suspected in the course of construction work.<\/p>\n

If a bomb is actually found and an evacuation is necessary, virtually the entire Poppelsdorf campus<\/strong> will be affected. In this case, nobody is allowed to stay in the area. This will presumably be decided on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

As a precautionary measure, the university will therefore only hold online teaching<\/strong> on these days.
\n(Correction<\/strong>: Only related to courses taking place in the affected areas!)<\/p>\n

At the moment, it is only an assumption<\/strong>. It will only be determined on Monday morning whether there is actually a bomb at the suspected location. You should therefore currently only prepare for an evacuation (i.e. act in such a way that you can leave quickly) and find out on April 8th whether an evacuation will actually take place!<\/p>\n
