Elections are taking place from May 30 to June 1!
\nCome to the ballots and have a say in who represents you at the university this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who may vote?<\/strong> You are eligible to vote if you are enrolled in a degree that is represented by the student body of Computer Science. This is marked on your student ID with an asterisk (*). It doesn’t matter if you are studying for a bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree, in Computer Science, Cyber Security or Life Science Informatics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Who is elected?<\/strong>\u00a0Your student body representatives or Fachschaftsvertretung (FSV) in German. The student body represents you within the university. They fill seats in many important bodies and committees at the institute that have a direct impact on your studies. They also elect the members of the student body council which, for example, is responsible for hosting events or advising you in everyday student life.<\/p>\n

When and where can I vote on campus?<\/strong> The ballot box will be open on May 30, May 31 and June 1, each 9:30-14:30 (9.30 am – 2.30 pm<\/strong>) in \/ in front of room 0.020<\/strong> of the Computer Science building (Friedrich-Hirzebruch-Allee 8). The room is located directly next to the student body office, in the Foyer. You can see it from the main entrance.
\nIn case you cannot come to university you also have the option to vote via mail. To do so, please fill out this form<\/a> with your name, matriculation number, e-mail adress (optional), your official adress, the adress you’d like the documents to be sent to and the reason why you’d like to vote by mail.<\/p>\n

Can I run for student body too?<\/strong> Sure! Everyone eligible to vote can also run for a seat on the student body themselves. To do so, please fill out the candidacy form<\/a><\/strong> then print it out and sign it<\/strong>. Please hand in the signed form either as a digital scan (wahlen@be-sser.de) or via mail before May 17, 16:00 (4 pm). You can also hand it in personally to the election supervisor (Bettina Esser) or put it in the student bodies mailbox, located in the lecture hall building. In addition to this form, you may send in a short introductory text<\/strong> (max. 500 characters) and a photo (both optional). Those will be published on this website and will be on display at the polling booth.<\/p>\n

How do I know who has been elected?\u00a0<\/strong>The votes will be counted on June 1, starting at 16:00 (4 pm) in room 0.020. Afterward, the official result will be published on the homepage of the student body. All elected members will also be notified via e-mail. The inaugural meeting of the new student body will take place on June 14, 2021 at 17:15 (5.15 pm) in room 0.016, Computer Science Building.<\/p>\n

Mai, 31. Mai und 1. Juni (Montag-Mittwoch<\/strong>) jeweils von 9:30-14:30 Uhr<\/strong> in bzw. vor Raum 0.020 des Informatikzentrums (Friedrich-Hirzebruch-Allee 8) aufgestellt. Das ist der Raum der Lernbetreuung, direkt im Foyer<\/strong>. Auf dem Weg zum FS-B\u00fcro oder deinem Tutorium kommst du bestimmt daran vorbei.\r\n\r\nFSV klingt cool! Kann ich noch kandidieren?<\/strong> Klar! Jeder der wahlberechtigt ist darf auch kandidieren. Dazu f\u00fcllst du einfach dieses Formular<\/a>\u00a0aus und schickst es\u00a0unterschrieben<\/strong> als Scan (wahlen@be-sser.de) oder per Post an uns zur\u00fcck. Du kannst es auch pers\u00f6nlich bei der Wahlleitung (Bettina Esser) abgeben oder in den Postkasten der Fachschaft im H\u00f6rsaalzentrum werfen. Die Frist<\/strong> daf\u00fcr ist der 17. Mai 2022 um 16 Uhr. Zus\u00e4tzlich zum Formular darfst du optional einen kurzen Vorstellungstext<\/strong> (maximal 500 Zeichen) und ein Foto einsenden. Diese werden auf Fachschafts-Webseite ver\u00f6ffentlicht und h\u00e4ngen als Ausdruck bei der Wahlurne aus.\r\n\r\nWoher wei\u00df ich wer gew\u00e4hlt wurde?<\/strong> Die Ausz\u00e4hlung der Stimmen findet am 1. Juni 2022 ab 16:00 Uhr statt, ebenfalls in der Lernbetreuung (Raum 0.020). Danach wird das offizielle\u00a0Wahlergebnis<\/strong> auf der Webseite der Fachschaft bekannt gegeben. Alle gew\u00e4hlten Mitglieder werden au\u00dferdem per E-Mail benachrichtigt<\/strong>.\r\nDie\u00a0konstituierende Sitzung<\/strong> der neu gew\u00e4hlten FSV ist dann am 14. Juni 2022 um 17 c.t.
