Every student that studies Informatik (B.Sc.), Computer Science (M.Sc.), Life Science Informatics (M.Sc.) or is working on her Dr. (similar to PhD) is part of it.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nEvery student that is part of the student body is called upon to elect the student council (germ. Fachschaftsvertretung). This elections takes part in the summer, usually in June. Those elected students again elect the student administration (germ. Fachschaftsrat).\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nDuring the lecture period, we meet every week (you can find day, time and room in the sidebar\/at the footer of this page). You are welcome to attend. If you have any concern this is the place where you can call for it (you can write us an e-mail, too).\r\n

Our Work<\/h2>\r\nIt is hard to sum up what is all part of the work of the student body. Apart from the committee work we do, we also organise events and parties, we provide services such as the exam minutes an of course we also are your first contact when it comes to questions or problems regarding your studies or life in Bonn in general.\r\n

Can I help?<\/h3>\r\nOf course! Everyone can join and help, even if they are not elected in FSR, FSV or any committee. An easy entry is to help with the office hours. For two hours a week you staff our office, where you answer e-mails, fill up the beverages in the fridge, tidy the shelves and of course help any student that comes by. The office hours are always staffed with two people, so you will have a seasoned Fachschaftler with you who knows how things work.\r\n\r\nIf you want to help further, you could take on one of our internal jobs, or you could occupy a seat in a committee. Am gel\u00e4ufigsten ist der Begriff Fachschaft; hierunter verstehen die meisten Studierenden den Fachschafsraum oder das Dutzend Informatikerinnen und Informatiker, das zeitweise diesen Raum bev\u00f6lkert und dort die so genannte \u201eFachschaftsarbeit\u201c erledigt.\r\n\r\nOffiziell besteht die Fachschaft Informatik jedoch aus allen Informatik-Studierenden. Diese w\u00e4hlen dann j\u00e4hrlich (so im Juni) die Fachschaftsvertretung (FSV, vergleichbar mit einem Parlament). Die Fachschaftsvertretung w\u00e4hlt dann den Fachschaftsrat (FSR, quasi Regierung).\r\n\r\nW\u00e4hrend der Vorlesungszeit finden jede Woche die Fachschaftssitzungen statt, wo neue Taten diskutiert und geplant werden. Wer also mal mitdiskutieren oder sich das ganze auch nur mal anh\u00f6ren m\u00f6chte, ist herzlich willkommen. Die aktuellen Daten findest du in der Sidebar\/im Fu\u00dfe dieser Seite. Dabei ist es v\u00f6llig egal, ob du gew\u00e4hlt bist oder nicht \u2013 oder ob du vielleicht nicht einmal Teil der Fachschaft bist, weil du vielleicht Lehr\u00e4mtler bist. Fachschaftsarbeit<\/h2>\r\nWas alles zur Fachschaftsarbeit geh\u00f6rt, ist schwer zu sagen. Wir sind nat\u00fcrlich eure studentische Vertretung gegen\u00fcber dem Institut und sitzen f\u00fcr euch in diversen Gremien, aber Fachschaftsarbeit ist mehr als das. Wir organisieren Veranstaltungen und Partys, stellen Dienste wie die Pr\u00fcfungsprotokolle zur Verf\u00fcgung und sind nat\u00fcrlich auch erste Ansprechpartner wenns Fragen zum Studium oder Leben in Bonn gibt und helfen gerne bei euren Problemen.\r\n

Kann ich da mitmachen?<\/h3>\r\nKlar! Wir sind eine offene Fachschaft, das hei\u00dft, dass jede:r mitmachen und sich einbringen kann, ohne in FSR, FSV oder ein Amt gew\u00e4hlt zu werden. Ein gern genommener Einstieg ist der Anwesenheitsdienst<\/a> (AWD). Dort besetzt man einmal in der Woche f\u00fcr zwei Stunden das B\u00fcro, beanwortet Mails, f\u00fcllt die Getr\u00e4nke wieder auf, sorgt f\u00fcr Ordnung im Regal und hilft nat\u00fcrlich jedem Studi, der vorbeikommt und Hilfe braucht. Beim AWD ist man immer zu zweit, man hat also eine:n erfahrene:n Fachschaftler:in dabei, der\/die wei\u00df, wie der Laden l\u00e4uft.\r\n\r\nWer Lust hat, mehr Fachschaftsarbeit zu machen, kann z.B. eins unserer internen \u00c4mter \u00fcbernehmen oder in eins der Gremien gehen.
